|Message:||Ray, I'm a great fan of precision flying, but that is airplanes. What you do seems beyond human ability. Your choice of the Flower Duet to accompany the kites hits just the right theme. Like you, I've been around a while, 77 years. Watching you fly kites and talk about life reminds me that there is only the now and memory of other nows, now past. Thanks|
|Message:||I just saw a video of your flying with Music at http://3quarksdaily.blogs.com/3quarksdaily/2008/03/romancing-the-w.html
And absolutely loved it. |

|Message:||I don't know exactly how I found the website, but once I was there, I watched the video about six times! The music is one of my favorites, and at first I thought the singer was Lesley Garrett, but I pulled out my CD with her singing it, and it was not.
Anyway, I agree with one Guestbook entry about how well the kites were synchronized with the music. But, since Ray is hearing impaired, I don't think that he was
listening while he was flying the kites. Robert Holbrook just did one heck of a great job of putting the music on top of the video after he edited it.
I have a couple of kites, and I fly them every once in a while, but they are single string devices, and I don't know how to modify them to make them do stunts.
I guess I'll have to break down and buy one!
Thanks to Ray and Robert for a great video experience!
|Message:||What an inspiration to us retired guys you are, Ray! I can see myself taking up the sport. You sure have beautiful control, and what a great way to spend a non-mechanized day!|

I attended the Pincher Creek Kite Festival
and just loved seeing you again. My husband passed in Jan/08 so this year I
attended with my 8 yr.old Granddaughter
only. Got her 2-line kiting with the help
of Bud with the KiteGuys, Airdrie, Ab. I'm
trying to fly 2 kites also. It's hard.
