This is only
January so more invitations will be coming in for Ray to perform at other
international Kite Festivals around the World, Ray had already had to turn down
many invitations as the dates have clashed with the ones that he has already
committed him self .
Ray has
been often been requested to perform at many schools across the USA. If Ray can
fit a visit to a school into his very heavy kite schedule, he will be very
pleased and happy to do so. Rays' Kite flying sends a very powerful and lasting
positive message to children and adults. for the last 3 years and will also do
again this year , Ray performed at three schools in Guam for children who are
"hearing Impaired". His dynamic kiting skills sent a strong message of hope to
these children -- faces lit up and one could almost hear the children "Gee, I
could do that too---I could travel the World -- if "Uncle Ray" does so can I!"
as he is deaf just like me….The school Staff were also motivated and gave Ray a
"thumbs up". Ray has received many e-mails and letters thanking him for
returning to Guam and now consider him a "Guam Boy" (which means Ray has taken
on an kinship with the native islanders).
