Ray's World Adventures 2000 The Mega Ray Maiden Flight October 21st 2000 at Ste-Julie Quebec  Yves Laforest claims that he and his team launched the biggest kite in the world on October 21st in a huge open field at Ste-Julie, Quebec, Canada. (Yves said this kite could be rented from them, to anywhere in the world at a very good price.) Peter Lynn has explained to Yves that the title of the biggest kite in the world was the Ex-equo, which is in between the Mega Ray and Peter's Megabite.The kite is 40m wide (120ft) and 60m long (180ft), made in 5 sections which are joined together using zippers.
